It is important to remember when sizing your dog, clothing from one brand to another can fit entirely different. Just because your dog is a small in one brand, does not make it a small in other brands.

A common problem we have also seen is people ordering one size too small in the chest for dog apparel, especially something stiffer like a winter dog coat that doesn't have a lot of stretch to it. If your dogs chest measurements are just barely one size on a measuring chart, please pick the size up (leave an inch at least). The chest measurement is the most important one, if you have any doubts, don't hesitate to email us as we have lots of experience measuring and dressing up customers pets and we can always compare with our 2 little ones to give you a better idea of what should fit best.

1.) Chest:
For chest measurement, measure the chest at its deepest point around (circumference of chest), usually right behind the front legs.

2.) Length:

Measuring should be done along the dog's spine from the base of the head to the base of the tail.

3.) Neck:
Measuring should be done where a collar would rest. Too tight will be uncomfortable for your pet!

4.) Fluff:
Keep in mind your pets fluff factor! Give a little extra if your pet is extra fluffy as all that fur has to tuck into the clothes!
